Hi everyone,

Last month we mentioned that we would be distributing a PDF version of one of the stories from the Witching Hours graphic novel this month. We're still on track to do-so, we're just finalizing items at the moment.

We'll have another update coming before month's end, so stay tuned!

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delays since our last update - if you recall, we mentioned that we are behind schedule, in part because the book is 25% larger than initially estimated.

The good news is the art for two out of the four stories are completed and are being lettered now. And even better, one of these stories, once lettered, will be distributed as a digital PDF in October to celebrate Halloween! 🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻

Production Update - A Note From Legendary Comics

Hello Followers of Samhain,

We have been working hard on the Trick r Treat: Witching Hours graphic novel and are excited to share the first treat – some pages of Breehn Burn’s story “Halloween Country.” (see after this note)

 And this is just the beginning.

That said, Sam has played a trick. The journey of writing and illustrating four new all original stories has taken a bit more time than we projected, so the book won’t be ready to ship for this October. Part of what caused this was the script. We originally anticipated it being 120 pages, and it went up to 150 pages. So the good news is you're all now getting a 25% longer story.

You are going to be getting updates in the months ahead so you can see the progress, and we will give an update by year end about the new release date.

We promise this will be worth the wait. This is the first new, all original Trick r Treat graphic novel in 10 years, so we are giving it the love it deserves and that Sam demands.

More soon, and enjoy the pre-Halloween glimpse into a small amount of the great work in progress.

Digital Rewards Clarification

Hi everyone,

Since yesterday's update about several digital rewards being distributed, we've received messages from a large number of backers saying they did not receive everything, so wanted to clarify a few things.

1. The PDFs for Witching Hours and Krampus stories are not being distributed as they are still being completed.
2. The PDF for the Trick 'r Treat 15th Anniversary Omnibus, and Omnibus Digital Wallpaper are only being distributed to backers who either selected a reward tier with those items included, or add them on during the Kickstarter or BackerKit survey.

Hopefully this clears up some confusion, and we apologize if these details were not articulated well in our update yesterday.
